Viverridae
In spite of the name, Bearcats (Arctictis binturong) are not cats. They are members of the taxon family Viverridae from Southeast Asia. They look a bit like buffed up ferrets.
Cats are all members of the taxon family Felidae. Both Viverridae and Felidae are members of the suborder Feliformia, which is a member of the order Carnivora.
