Leopards and Jaguars
Leopards are the most common melanistic big cat, but Jaguars can also be black. A number of the smaller cats are known to be melanistic as well.
Although both black tigers and black pumas (cougars or mountain lions) have been reported anecdotally, there is as yet no proof that these cat exist.
There is one photo of a tiger with very thick black stripes that dominate the body, but with other colors present, so it does not show an actual black tiger.
