Working With Cats
You're headed in the right direction if you are studying animal science, zoology, carnivore biology, conservation biology, wildlife management, or animal behavior.
Your next best option is to get to know people who are already working with cats. Many of them are members of the WILDCATS email list. To subscribe, send email to major@catbox.com and in the MESSAGE BODY say "subscribe WILDCATS". The list server will respond with more information.
Big Cats as Pets
Sorry, you're in the wrong place for that type of information. We don't sell cats, and we can't help with ownership issues. But we would like to encourage you to adopt a shelter cat - visit Cow Cats and Dog Logs for more information.
Wild Cat Sightings
If you see a wild cat and think there might be a problem, you can contact your state department of Fish and Wildlife. We sure don't mind hearing your sighting stories, but we don't keep any records on local sightings.
